Return to Ravenhearst

It has been three weeks of holiday now. And while waiting the exact date to go to Cepu (my class is going to have a field trip there for a month approximately), I do… nothing special.
In fact, these three days I ain’t going anywhere. So, I stayed at home, and maximize the power of my unlimited internet connection. Ha-ha!

I really love playing games, PC games what I mean here. I play kinds of games, mostly Big Fish Games and Gamehouse’s games. But what I love the most is hidden object games. First hidden object game that I played was Mystery Case Files: Prime Suspects. It’s a hard game, though. After that, I always crave for more hidden object games to be conquered.

There are so many kinds of games like that, like the hardest one I’ve tried so far is the Mystery Case Files (every single of it series), Agatha Christie’s (this one is also quite complicated), Big City Adventure’s, Dream Day Wedding: Married in Manhattan (the only series of Dream Day Wedding that I know), Little Shop of Treasure’s, and there still a lot more. I don’t remember all of it.
I just found out that there are this Nancy Drew’s series (yeah, I know). Okay, for sure I really really wanna play those. Nancy Drew, novel and film, are well known for its detective stories.

But there’s this one thing I’ve been looking for since September last year, when I played Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst (this is a tremendous cool hidden object games, for sure) and finished it. There’s the sequel for it, which is Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst.

Let me tell you about Ravenhearst first. This is the description from its official download site: Rumors surrounding the history of stately Ravenhearst Manor have circulated for decades. The recently acquired diary of Emma Ravenhearst may hold the key to unraveling the tale behind this unsettling place, yet the pages are missing. Players assume the role of Master Detective to unlock secrets held within Ravenhearst ®, scouring a myriad of enchanting rooms in the manor for cleverly hidden clues. Locating and assembling diary pages helps tell the story of the house and, ultimately, unlock the mystery.

It’s a quite hard hidden object games, full of puzzles and riddles. If you like challenge of thinking, should really try this game. After finish this game, do try it sequel, Return to Ravenhearst. As it named, the description is: Emma`s soul is free. But her ghost has delivered a dire warning: evil still lurks in Ravenhearst Manor. Big Fish Games Studios takes you deep inside the cursed estate in Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst ™, the thrilling sequel. Experience Ravenhearst`s spectral halls as never before with new immersive adventure-style gameplay and an epic original soundtrack. Feel the floorboards creak as you move from room to room solving puzzles and seeking out clues in over 150 detailed scenes.

So, I try to find this game, via internet, asking friends, CD and DVD store, still I haven’t find the Return to Ravenhearst installer. And I give up after a month looking. Until yesterday, when I accompanied my friend to CD and DVD store to buy installer games, it pops up again in my head after 6 months long: ah, I should find the Return to Ravenhearst installer! But still no result at the CD DVD store. I went home, and start browsing the internet, and finally found the site! Site that gives you free download full version of MYSTERY CASE FILES: RETURN TO RAVENHEARST!! (Yeah, after 6 months of waiting! :p).

So, without even thinking, I’m downloading it via rapidshare (there are 4 part and each part is 100 MB large). After about two days downloading the games, I’m about to play it just now. I installed it, and it works. I’m sooo excited. Until, the main menu appears. Main menu with the language I don’t understand. Then I quit the game even before I entered, and realize I just downloaded the French Version! Boomer! Now I’m gonna have to re-download the game again (now in English Version) for another two days. Argh!

PS: just email me if you're interested to download the full version of the game too. I have the link (both in French or English version, doh) :p

Cooking Mr. Crab

Voila! Penggemar kepiting really should try this recipe!

Kuahnya enak banget, apalagi kalo dimakan anget-anget. Asam pedasnya bener-bener kerasa di lidah sama tenggorokan. Sekilas ngingetin saya sama sebuah masakan berkuah di restoran peranakan di sebuah mall. Yummeeehhh banget!

Tapi ini fotonya adaptasi dari situs resepnya. Soalnya kepiting saya ga bisa ditata seindah itu :p

Hahahaha, sudah cukup mengiming-iming ga sih tulisan saya? Selamat mencoba! :)

Black Monday

I am re-posting Vivien's 'Black Monday' blog post. Hope she doesn't mind. Fact that I, somehow, condemned it but.. words have failed me. :(

"Watching Mavi Marmara operation video gets me thinking, living life as a volunteer, I might end up being shot dead like that. Someday.. Somehow.

I am a volunteer. I am a humanitarian. And I condemn Israel's aggression to Flotilla volunteers aboard the Mavi Marmara, and to Gaza people in general, for it is a violation to humanity.

So let's put our hands together and pray for the people in Gaza, no matter what your religion is, no matter what you believe in. Because I believe that we ALL believe in humanity. And whatever you do today, please keep them close to your heart.

I am a volunteer. I am a humanitarian. And though I may not have done a lot, but I do, and will, do anything it takes to accomplish world peace, for the sake of humanity.

Volunteers around the world are mourning. I will spend the rest of the day in silence."

Here's another video you can watch. This one really making goosebumps all over me.
